...a stone built cottage constructed in the mid nineteenth century as housing for the local lead miners and families who worked in the surrounding hills. Rose Cottage has recently been extensively renovated both inside and out giving the home a modern feel within whilst still maintaining its charm and character on the outside. Its position makes it an ideal choice for those wishing to explore the Peak District with its extensive range of attractions and places of interest.
A fully equipped kitchen with a dining table, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washer/tumble, microwave, oven and ceramic hob.
Two double bedrooms, with the larger being equipped with a king-sized zip-and-link bed that can be converted into two single beds if required. There is an original Derbyshire stone fireplace that has been retained as a character feature plus items of bedroom furniture. The smaller bedroom has a standard double bed and a small built in wardrobe for clothes.
The living room has a cosy log burning fire set into a large Derbyshire stone fireplace for those quiet relaxing evenings. There is a smart TV and unlimited WiFi throughout the property.
The modern designer bathroom has both an over the bath fixed head and a removable shower head for greater convenience.
Outside there are small gardens and paved seating areas where you can watch the world go by perhaps with a glass of wine.
There is a small lockable outside shed that will take 2 bicycles and these can also be secured to a significant anchor point for added security.
